Apple Mac * UNIX - Desktop * Development and Deployment Specialist - London- My client is a global leader in consultancy and outsourcing , the role will entail working with a prestigious client - a household name around the world, in technology - ensuring smooth rollout on Windows systems.
Candidates are expected to have Mac manipulation*development skills, UNIX*Perl scripting experience and solid understanding of the connections to Windows 2000, XP and Active Directory in a large multi-domain environment. Knowledge of MSI application packaging, in particular using WinInstall 2000 and Wise would be an advantage. Ideally you will have worked with any of the following Perl scripting, VBScript, VPN and RAS services (in particular detailed knowledge of Roving profiles over slow links) Dial-Up and ISDN. (not all essential) .
This position will suit either a Mac developer with Unix experience or vice a versa and is a hugely important role working for a global player with rapidly expanding services divisions throughout the South East.
